    Fast to find the slow

    Fast: Only three of the fifteen definitions for this word have something to do with abstaining from food or certain foods. The others all�have to do with quick movement, hurrying, rapid tempo, etc.

    Interesting that we, or at least I, find it necessary to "fast" in order to slow down because the pace of my life is far too fast.�My struggle lies in the need or desire to slow down, but my flesh fights me and tells me that food is what I need rather than rest. So rather than slowing down, I eat in haste, I eat...fast. This in turn causes more anxiety and stress and makes me feel like life is moving even faster than before. So this is where the "fast" falls into line. It puts life back into perspective. It reminds me who's is charge here, not me. God. God is in charge here. His pace is so different than ours. Time is in his hands. He created the world, he sustains the world, and he'll be the one to end the world as it is, and begin new life eternally with all his family.

    So why do we let the world today dictate how we live our lives? Why do we let others set�our pace? Because that pace is entirely too fast and I'd rather let God be in charge and listen to him when he tells me to enter into his rest, to slow down, reorganize my priorities, and just praise him. Praise him with every move I make and�every breath I take.

    Today I'm fasting. It's a fast to find the slow. Not to find the lazy, not to find the excuse to do nothing, but to find Jesus in the midst of this chaotic life. To find Him so I can reflect him and stop following the ways of my flesh. To find Him so I can live Him, so I can be Christ to a lost, crazy, busy, lonely world.

    I'm easy to please. I don't expect too much of a person. I have done that before, expect too much, and it always end up in disappointment, from then on, I learned not to put standard on people, that way, I get to appreciate the littlest things about people. And, I am happier that way. The world has too much angst, I don't want to be part of that population with angst, by lessening it through appreciating people and the little things that they do with their life ;D

    Bliss and Love - 3rd Monthsary

    I get up early this morning just to send SMS to my baby to greet her with a happy monthsary. It is stirring me inside this bliss and love mix together following deep into my veins. Im so happy despite of differences and trials we had, we still make it upto this time - probably because of this unexplain love we have deep inside. It made me happier today when hearing her voice over the phone just in time I get up this morning. ;)

    I LOVE THAT PRAYER!

    I really love that prayer, and need to think of it more often. I used to go to Al-anon for years, my husband is an alcoholic. I need to go back to meetings again, getting lazy about going I guess.

    Through A Plated Glass

    Through a plated glass one can vaguely see A visual spctrum of what was supposed to be We have engrafted pryamids to honor the forgotten dead In essence what is going on in our head Through papal views in store of the common hue ~ A snow caped vex credential; We leave our hearts as opened door A given chance at which to humbly explore The soul that strays may quite often want to stay ~ To shed some light upon a Ham and glaze Yet to stay humble betwixt a world that's been torn Still will curse the day you were actually born Through a leaf with covered vexed on dew A soul that sins is a soul that dies Through a port in a storm one can barely see; ~ A glimmer of hope that would set us free As a beacon in the night one can vividly see ? ~ Criticism The best thing to do about criticism is to control anger, study yourself, and ask, is it valid ? ~ If you decide that it is, Then correct yourself, if it isn't valid, then the best possible procedure is to rise above the criticism and not to stoop to recimination.., ~ The pace steps up a fast-paced, exciting life can produce a tension and stress that detroys, or it can result in a strong life thrust that moves over faster but still remains under control. ~ His Message Goes NationWide it is really a thrill when you make significant progress toward attaining your chief goal in life.

    School Days

    Sometimes I wonder why they give us the classes that we have at school? I mean, yes they serve a purpose, but some of them are so pointless.. take 'Computer Based Projects' for instance. It 2 hours of doing pretty much nothing?? Mhhm, POINTLESS!! Then theres the whole 'Freshman Studies' class? I mean really? I have eight classes and not one of them is geography? Not geo. to be exact, but some class where you get to learn about the world. I guess were starting that in Environmental Sciences which is my major, but still.
    When I first started school this whole 'Blocked Schedule' thing, but eventually I got ahang of it. I go to a very, very cool school. It called West Career and Technical Academy. Sounds fancy right? That's because it is!! My major is Environmental Sciences ;/ , really I dont want anything to do with science when Im older. I want to go to BYU and attend there culinary program. My dream is to own a bakery & be a pastry chef. WOW ! :p way off topic here !! Well not really, I guess it's school related.. right? Well whatever.

    Anyways,
